Removals Insurance : Why choose Britannia Greers Insurance?

The difference between LIABILITY and INDEMNITY (LIKE FOR LIKE) Replacement as New Insurance Cover.

Claim against the insurer not the mover

• Liability claims are made against the mover, who may decide not to accept liability and refuse to compensate you

• With Indemnity or Replacement as New Insurance you sign a contract that entitles you to submit a claim directly against the insurer resulting in justified compensation.

Rights of recourse

• Liability claimants have no right of recourse to the Insurance Ombudsman Service.

Comprehensive cover

• If you choose liability cover you will have to prove negligence by the moving company in order to make a claim.

Goods replaced or repaired as new

• Liability cover means that you will only be compensated to the second–hand value of the goods.  Your goods will not be replaced or repaired as new.
